Cell Protect is an insurance package that offers protection for your Cellphone & SIM Card. Exclusive to Globe G-Plan subscribers, it provides indemnity for lost, stolen, or accidentally damaged cellphones, as well as free SIM replacement in case of lost or stolen SIM cards.

What do you get?

Deductible is your share or participation for each claim.

For damaged phones, the deductible is equivalent to 10% of repair cost or a minimum of Php250.00, whichever is higher.

For lost phones, the deductible is equivalent to 20% of the fair market value or a minimum of Php1,000, whichever is higher.

How much does it cost?

The insurance premium, regardless of phone model, is only Php150 per month charged to your G-Plan bill.

What cellphone models can be insured?

Generally, all cellphone units in good working and physical condition and models not older than 5 years can be insured. You may call us through (02) 719-4555 for any inquiries and we will be happy to assist you.

For Panasonic, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Philips and Mitsubishi, you can get the phone codes automatically.

Your phone's IMEI Code is typically found behind the mobile handset.

Filing your claim is as easy as 1-2-3

1) Call our Hotline at (02) 719-4555 any day from 8 am to 8pm. Our customer representatives will be more than willing to guide you through the whole claims process.

2) Go to the nearest Malayan branch to submit your claims documents.

3) We guarantee to get back to you within 3 working days after we receive your complete documents.

• Your cellphone is left unattended in a public place
• Your cellphone is lost from an unattended vehicle, unless the vehicle itself was securely locked and there was a sign of violent and forcible entry
• Damage is caused by normal wear and tear
• You can claim for the loss or damage from a manufacturer
• The damage caused by war or associated acts
• You have given, lent or sold the mobile phone to someone else
• The phone is technically obsolete
• The damage to your phone is only cosmetic
• The damage is caused by faulty repair
• Your G-Plan contract has ceased, or payments are in arrears
• Your claim is dishonest, untrue or incorrect
• Only the accessories are damaged or lost
