CLAIMS
FROM CAR ACCIDENTS
To
ensure speedy processing of and settlement of
claims, we request our motor vehicle / policyholders
who are involved in accidents to follow these
guidelines:
WHAT
TO DO IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT
1. Attend to
persons requiring medical attention.
2. Move vehicles
to the roadside so as not to obstruct traffic
flow. You can recreate the vehicles' position
in the accident later with a sketch to be signed
by both drivers.
3. Get a policeman
to investigate, and if easily available, a photographer
to take pictures.
4. Take down
the name of the driver of the other vehicle concerned.
Include witnesses and their addresses / telephone
numbers. If available, also obtain the other vehicle's
insurance cover details (Insuring Company and
Policy Number).
5. Never leave
your damaged car unattended.
6. Inform our
office immediately. You may qualify for an Express
Claim Service (XCS)
SUBMIT THE FF. DOCUMENTS:
1. Photocopy
of Insurance Policy and Official Receipt
2. Photocopy
of Driver's license and Official Receipt
3. Photocopy
of Certificate of registration and Official Receipt
4. Photocopy
of Police Report or Affidavit
5. Pictures showing
the damaged portion and the plate number
6. Stencils of
Motor and Serial / Chassis No. of the damaged
unit
