Summary of job functions: Planning, leading, organizing and controlling all activities and personnel involved in the conduct of risk-based internal audit activities following generally accepted auditing techniques within and outside a computerized work environment covering Malayan Insurance and the Malayan Group.

FIRE UNDERWRITING MANAGER
       Qualifications
         • With at least 5 to 7 years underwriting experience particularly on fire/property            insurance
         • Highly motivated and with analytical skills
         • Must have excellent communications
         • Computer literate

Summary of Job Functions: Ensuring effective risk management through the development and implementation of sound underwriting practices and programs, and policies and guidelines to achieve a profitable distribution of risk and underwriting profit for the fire product line.

UNIT SUPERVISOR – GENERAL ACCOUNTING
       Qualifications
         • Must be a CPA
         • With at least three (3) years supervisory experience in general and insurance            accounting
         • Must have excellent communications
         • Computer literate

Summary of job functions: Assists the Department Head in the review and interpretation of financial reports, cost data, and statistical and management control reports. Prepares, compile all reports, statement, statistics, and other data that the law and various government agencies require. Administers tax policies and procedures.

I.T. AUDITOR
       Qualifications
         • Graduate of BSC – Accountancy, must be a CPA
         • With two (2) years experience in I.T. Audit in a reputable Auditing Firm
         • Familiar with audit of AS400
         • Must have excellent oral & written communication skills

Summary of Job Functions: Performs and/or supervises the performance of IT audits and other assigned auditing services in accordance with professional standards.

AUDITORS
       Qualifications
         • Graduate of BSC – Accounting, must be a CPA
         • Preferably with one (1) to two years experience in risk based audit
         • Must have excellent communication skills
         • Computer literate
         • Customer Service Oriented

Summary of Job Functions: Ensures that risk and control issues are considered from the outset. Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the system of internal controls and monitoring adherence to operating policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Summary of Job Functions: Ensuring that all requests for inspection ate attended to without delay and professionally rendered. Evaluating and determining the acceptability of insurance risk in coordination with the respective underwriters; recommending ways and means to improve acceptability of risk and ensuring that recommended improvements to make risk acceptable are adhered to by insureds.

PROGRAMMER
       Qualifications
         • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer            Engineering
         • Proficient in Cobol Programming (AS 400)

Summary Job Functions: Codes, writes/revises program based on program specification given. Gathers detailed data from areas to be automated for systems design and analysis purposes.

       Qualifications

Summary of job functions: Implement marketing plans of particular lines of products; manage and grow the premium portfolio of new products within their respective assigned underwriting lines. Under the supervision of the Marketing Unit Head, primary function of implementing the marketing strategies of the product lines assigned to them, to bring the products to market, exhaust all channels available for the product and monitor progress of applied marketing plans, and report back to management on the results.
